Escopo/ Scope
O International Journal Semiarid é um periódico Brasileiro com difusão Internacional que publica artigos científicos e produtos técnico-científicos voltados a pesquisas na área da Geografia do ambiente semiárido, bem como em áreas correlatas das ciências humanas e ambientais. As contribuições são provenientes de pesquisas desenvolvidas em Programas de Pós-Graduação e outras vinculadas a órgãos de fomento, com caráter científico, incluindo experiências e atividades criadas com esse propósito. O fluxo de submissão de artigos e trabalhos técnicos é contínuo e GRATUITO para os autores, sendo todas as submissões avaliadas por pares em sistema de dupla anonimização (double-blind review). Os organizadores contemplam a Rede de Pesquisa e Extensão do Semiárido e enfocam estudos que promovam uma convivência harmoniosa entre a sociedade e a natureza.
The International Journal Semiarid is a Brazilian journal with international reach that publishes scientific articles and technical-scientific products focused on research in the field of Geography of the semiarid environment, as well as related areas of the human and environmental sciences. Contributions come from research developed within Graduate Programs and other initiatives linked to funding agencies, with a scientific character, including experiences and activities created for this purpose. The submission process for articles and technical papers is continuous and free of charge for authors, with all submissions evaluated through a double-blind peer review system. The organizers are part of the Semi-Arid Research and Extension Network and focus on studies that promote a harmonious coexistence between society and nature.
