The International Semi-Arid Magazine registers technical-scientific products that address the semi-arid environment, through scientific services and experiences or activities created for this environment. The flow of receipt of articles and technical papers is continuous and without financial cost for the authors.
FREE ACCESS POLICY
The International Journal Semiarid is an electronic scientific journal that offers free and open access to its contents. There is no financial cost to the authors for submission or publication in this journal.
CONTINUOUS FLOW
The flow of receipt of articles and technical papers is continuous.
PEER REVIEW PROCESS
The evaluation process adopts a double blind peer review system for all submitted texts that will be reviewed by two external reviewers. If the paper is approved by both reviewers, it will be published; if it is rejected by both reviewers, it will be excluded; and if it is accepted by one reviewer and rejected by the other, it will be forwarded to a third reviewer, who will decide whether or not to publish the paper.
Three conditions are considered in the selection process. 1º The text is admitted for publication; 2º The text is forwarded to the author for modifications and 3º The text is rejected. The editor-in-chief will communicate the decision of the referees to the author.
GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS
All authors and coauthors must present their ORCID digital identifier.

IJSA follows editorial principles and practices that preserve the confidentiality of authors and reviewers. It follows the guidelines established by the Code of Conduct and the Guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (http://publicationethics.org/), and maintains editorial impartiality as well as due regard for complaints and demands from both authors and reviewers.

O fluxo de recebimento de artigos e trabalhos técnicos é contínuo.
PROCESSO DE AVALIAÇÃO PELOS PARES
O processo avaliativo adota um sistema de revisão por pares em dupla cega (double blind peer review) para todos os textos submetidos que serão revisados por dois avaliadores externos. Se o trabalho for aprovado pelos dois avaliadores, ele será publicado, se for rejeitado pelos dois avaliadores, será excluído e se for admitido por um avaliador e rejeitado pelo outro, será encaminhado a um terceiro que decidirá pela publicação do trabalho ou não.
Três condições são consideradas no processo de seleção. 1º O texto é admitido para publicação; 2º O texto é reencaminhado ao autor para modificações e 3º O texto é rejeitado. Na qual o editor chefe comunicará a decisão dos pareceristas ao autor.
DIRETRIZES PARA AUTORES
Todos os autores e coautores deverão apresentar seu identificador digital ORCID.
